The router gives us the possibility of aid because it is difficult to memorize all available commands, the question mark (?), And the Keyboard tab give us the necessary assistance to that effect. The full tab not remembers the commands complete or do not want to write in full.

The? Placed immediately after a command that shows all start with those letters, placed after a space (spacebar +?) We list all the commands that can run in that position.

The aid can be run from any mode:

Router #?
Exec commands:
access-enable Create a temporary Access-List entry
access-template Create a temporary Access-List entry
bfe For manual emergency modes setting
clear Reset Functions
-More-

Immediately or after a space as requested aid:
Router # sh?
Show

Router # show?
access-expression List access expression
access-lists List access lists
accounting Accounting data for active sessions
aliases Display alias commands
-More-

-More-The indication means that there is more information available. The space bar goes from page to page, while it will INTRO line by line.

The caret “^” indicate a failure of writing to a command:

Router # configure terxinal
^
% Invalid input detected at '^' marker.
Router # configure terminal
Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL / Z.
Router (config) #

Using Control + P (also up) lets you see the last command executed, the Control-N (also down) the inverse of the above. These commands are recorded in a history buffer and can be called with the command show history, by default the number of commands that are stored in memory is 10, but can be changed by the administrator using the history size:
Router # terminal history size?
<0-256> Size of history buffer
